This policy describes how Moiz handles personal information when you browse moizismaili.com, write to us, join the email list, or place an order for electronics and digital products. It was last updated on 14 October 2026.

Who we are

Moiz operates the online shop at moizismaili.com. We sell electronics and digital products, and we write to customers by email at hello@moizismaili.com. This policy explains what information the shop collects, why we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the pages of this website, including the shop, the bag, checkout, the journal, the contact form, and the email list.

If you need a person, email is the door. Please do not send payment card numbers, passport copies, or other highly sensitive documents to that inbox. We will never ask you to reply with a card number by email.

The information you choose to give us

You can browse the catalogue without telling us who you are. You give us personal information when you decide to write, subscribe, or place an order. That information may include your name, your email address, the topic of a message, the words you type, the pieces in your bag, quantities, and any note you add about a colour, a download, or a question.

If you join the email list, we also keep the kinds of notes you asked for, such as new arrivals, buying guides, quiet offers, or digital releases. If you later unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to honour that request and to avoid writing to you again by mistake.

Orders and the representative who writes back

When you place an order, you see a confirmation on the page and a representative contacts you by the email you entered. The order is a request. It becomes a sale only after that person confirms availability, the total, and how payment and delivery or download will work. We use your name, email, the list of pieces, and your note for that conversation and for the records that belong with it.

We do not collect card numbers, bank details, or a delivery address on the website itself. If a physical piece needs to be sent somewhere, the representative will arrange those details with you directly. Please share an address only in that later exchange, and only with the person who is handling your order.

The bag, the wishlist, and this browser

Your bag and your saved pieces are stored on the device you are using, in the browser’s local storage. That lets the shop remember a headphone or a preset pack while you move from the journal back to the catalogue. It also means a different browser, a private window, or a cleared storage will forget the bag. We do not use that storage to follow you across other companies’ websites.

Notes you submit at checkout, and the addresses you add to the email list from this browser, are also kept locally so the page can show you a confirmation and so an unsubscribe request can match a subscribe request made on the same device. A representative still follows up by email on orders. Treat the on-screen confirmation as the start of that conversation, and keep your own copy if you want a record outside the browser.

Messages you send from the contact page

If you write from the contact form, we use your name, email, topic, and message to understand the question and to reply. Topics are only a sorting aid: an order, product advice, digital goods, or something else. Please include enough detail for a useful answer, and leave out secrets we do not need. We aim to reply within two working days. If a message is about a faulty piece, include the product name and the order email so we are not guessing.

The email list

The list is optional. We use it to send the kinds of notes you ticked: new products, longer buying guides, occasional offers, and news about digital releases. You can subscribe from the subscribe page or from the short field in the footer. You can leave from the unsubscribe page at any time. A link to that page also lives in the footer of every page of the shop.

We do not sell the list. We do not trade it for advertising access. If a message ever arrives that you did not ask for, use the unsubscribe page and write to hello@moizismaili.com so we can check what happened.

How we use information

We use personal information to answer you, to complete the conversation around an order, to deliver digital files by email, to arrange physical delivery once you and a representative have agreed the details, to keep the email list accurate, to notice repeated problems with a product, and to keep the shop from being misused. We also use it to understand, in a general way, which guides and products are useful, without building a dossier of your reading habits.

The legal reasons that sit under that work are straightforward: doing what you asked us to do when you wrote or ordered, our legitimate interest in running a careful shop and keeping records of what we promised, and your consent when the activity is the email list. You may withdraw list consent whenever you wish. Withdrawing it does not erase an order that is already underway.

What we do not collect on this site

The public forms ask for your name and email. We do not run a checkout that stores a payment card. We do not ask you to create a password. We do not knowingly collect precise location from your device. If a future page needs a new kind of information, we will say so on that page before we ask.

Please do not volunteer sensitive information in a note field. An order note is for “the sand finish if you have it” or “this preset pack is a gift.” It is not for medical details, government identifiers, or card data.

Digital products

Preset packs and sound libraries are files, not parcels. To deliver them we use the email address on the order. The files are for you, under the licence described in the terms. We do not use your download as a reason to study the photographs or recordings you make with those tools. If a file is replaced because of a fault, we use the same email to send the replacement.

Cookies and similar storage

This shop uses the browser’s own storage for the bag, the wishlist, the email-list entries you submit here, and a short-lived flag that lets the thank-you note remain if you refresh the checkout page. Those are functional. They are not advertising profiles.

If you block or clear site storage, the shop still opens, but the bag will look empty and a saved heart will forget its piece. Your browser may also store its own technical logs, such as the address of a page, as part of normal operation. Those settings belong to your browser, and you can clear them there.

When we share information

We share information with a representative who is handling your order or your question, and with a delivery partner only after you have agreed how a physical piece should travel. Digital files are sent to you. We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we need to protect customers, the shop, or someone else from harm.

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent the email list. If we ever use a helper to send mail or host the site, that helper may process information only on our instructions and only for the work described in this policy.

How long we keep it

We keep order correspondence for as long as we need it to complete the order, to handle a return or a faulty piece, and to meet ordinary record-keeping duties. Contact messages are kept long enough to solve the question and to see patterns if the same fault appears again. Email-list entries stay until you unsubscribe, and a simple suppression note may remain so we do not add you back by accident.

Bag contents stored only in your browser stay until you remove them, replace them, or clear the browser. We cannot reach into your device and delete that copy for you. Clearing site data in the browser is the direct way to remove it.

Security

We limit the information we ask for, which is itself a security choice. Email is not a vault. Do not send card numbers or copies of identity documents. Use a unique inbox if you prefer to separate shop mail from everything else. On your side, a current browser and a device only you can unlock will do more for the bag stored locally than any slogan we could print.

No method of sending information is perfectly safe. If we ever learn of a problem that puts your information at real risk, we will write to the affected email address and explain what we know, what we are doing, and what you can do.

Your choices

You may ask what information we hold from your orders and messages, ask us to correct a name or email, and ask us to delete what we do not need to keep. You may unsubscribe from the list without affecting a separate order. You may also object to a use that is based on our legitimate interest, and we will consider that request honestly.

Write to hello@moizismaili.com with the address you used on the order or the form, and tell us what you want. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We will not ask you to prove it with a document we do not need. If we refuse a request, we will explain why, including when we must keep a record of a completed sale or a complaint.

Children

The shop is meant for adults buying electronics and digital tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child has sent us a message or placed an order, write to hello@moizismaili.com and we will delete what we can and close the request.

Visitors elsewhere

The site can be read from many places. Information you send may be handled wherever our representatives and email tools operate. Those places may have different rules from the place you are sitting. When you email us or place an order, you understand that your message has to travel in order for a person to read it. We still apply this policy to that information.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the shop changes in a way that matters to your information. The date at the top of the page will change with it. If a change would alter the email list in a serious way, we will also write to the addresses on that list. Continuing to use the shop after an update means you have the new policy available to you. An order already placed keeps the promises we made when you placed it.

How to reach us about privacy

Email hello@moizismaili.com and put “Privacy” in the subject so it is sorted quickly. Tell us the email address you used with Moiz, and what you want to know or change. We answer these requests in writing, so you have a record and so do we.
